Serbian terrorists killed her father, the daughter of sergeant Afrim Bunjaku shuddered with touching words: I can't get used to the absence of my father, but I'm proud

With her hands shaking and her eyes flooded with tears, Arbenita says that "I will never be able to get used to the absence of my father", and yet she emphasizes that "I am proud that my father gave his life to protect the Motherland".

The 25-year-old, law student, is the daughter of Afrim Bunjaku, the police sergeant who was shot dead by a group of Serbian terrorists in the village of Banjské in the north of Kosovo.

"My aunt gave me the terrible news. I didn't want it anymore, believe me. Father was leaving for work at 5 o'clock in the evening. And he didn't come back alive. It's a loss that hurts a lot, so much so that I can't find words for what we experienced", says Arbenita, as she waits for us at her house in the village of Samadrexhe in Vushtria, where the mortuary doors are still open.

"I am proud of my father, and as he instructed me, I will follow the path of justice. To do justice for my country, our country, the country for which my father gave his life", says Arbenita, who prays and hopes that her father will be the last Martyr in Kosovo.
