They tried to escape from the police, the vehicle full of drugs crashes on the Greek-Albanian border, the first details emerge

A vehicle tried to elude the Greek police on the Greek-Albanian border. The incident happened in Igoumenica, where the vehicle stopped the policemen, but then increased the speed. The vehicle was later found in an accident, having collided with the traffic dividers.

Inside the vehicle, 2 bags with 32 packages containing 32 kg of marijuana were found. 400 euros and 3 mobile phones were also seized, while the driver and the female passenger were arrested.

The nationality of the driver is still unknown, while the passenger is known to be Greek. Those arrested came from an area of ??northern Greece to be loaded with drugs.

Since the beginning of the year, the Greek police have recorded and captured 7 cases of suspected drug trafficking from Saranda to Igoumenica and seized 375 kg 818 grams of marijuana. While in different countries of Greece, since the beginning of the year, about 1 ton of marijuana has been seized, which is suspected to have come from Albania.
