He tried to rape and beat a 19-year-old woman, the young Albanian suffers badly in Greece

A 25-year-old man of Albanian origin has been arrested by the Greek police, as he is suspected of being involved in attempted rape and physical violence against a 19-year-old local woman, who is being treated in a hospital in Thessaloniki.

Specifically, according to the police announcement, yesterday afternoon (17/3) the 19-year-old girl reported to the police officers of the Toumba-Triandria security department that in the early hours of the same day in the Toumba area, the 25-year-old man was approached and with physical violence tried to rape her and take her backpack.

According to the local media, the author was arrested by the Greek police officers, after it was established that he had previously committed acts that violated the sexual dignity of a 22-year-old citizen, in a building in the center of Thessaloniki.

Also, during his arrest, it was established that he had provided false identification data.

Meanwhile, the procedural materials for the 25-year-old have been handed over to the prosecution for further procedural actions.
