Today, the north of Kosovo is engulfed by great tensions, after the Serbian citizens came out in protest to oppose the introduction of new mayors in the Municipality.

It was recently learned that the commander of KFOR, Angleo Michele Ristuccia, went to the office of the prime minister, Albin Kurti.

From today's incidents in the north, five policemen were injured, but then returned to their police duties. Meanwhile, four vehicles were damaged, including one burned.

The USA, through Ambassador Jeffrey Hovenier, has condemned the action of the Police in the north.
