The distributors of narcotics arrested as part of the police operation "Tempulli 1" were sentenced on Tuesday by the Court of Tirana. The court released on bail 11 of the 14 detainees for drug trafficking, while 2 defendants were sentenced to 5 years in prison: Dorjano Çela and Eduart Hysa.
The Court of Tirana, in its decision, declared the defendant Dorjano Çela guilty of committing the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics", sentencing him to 7 (seven) years and 6 months in prison. 1/3 of the sentence is deducted from him, ultimately sentencing the defendant Dorjano Çela to 5 (five) years of imprisonment. He will serve his sentence in a regular security prison.
The court also found the defendant, Eduart Hysa, guilty of committing the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics", sentencing him to 7 (seven) years and 6 months of imprisonment. 1/3 of the sentence is deducted from this defendant, ultimately sentencing him to 5 (five) years of imprisonment, which he will serve in a regular security prison.
