Kurti-Vucic meeting in Brussels, Haradinaj: The best possible agreement

The chairman of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Ramush Haradinaj, has assessed that the Franco-German proposal marks an important chapter for the 'de jure' recognition of Kosovo by Serbia.

Haradinaj spoke again today about the Franco-German proposal, which was accepted by the parties in the dialogue.

"Grateful and thankful for the extraordinary commitment of the USA in support of Kosovo in all stages of freedom and state building. The American contribution was of vital importance for the acceptance of the European Union's proposal for the normalization of Kosovo-Serbia relations, which is also a guarantee of security and prosperity for the country", wrote Haradinaj in a post on Facebook.

The Franco-German proposal has received the support of Haradinaj and AAK, assessing that this marks an important chapter for the 'de jure' recognition of Kosovo.

"This proposal has received my support and that of AAK, because we have assessed that it marks an important chapter for the recognition of Kosovo as well 'de jure'. I reckon this was for the best. This support was made exclusively for the country and without any electoral calculation", said Haradinaj

Haradinaj added that these are the moments when political unity is required.

"These are vital moments for the future of Kosovo, therefore a political unity is required, which under no circumstances can be understood as support for the individual. We will always have time to discuss the shortcomings of the Prime Minister and his disastrous governance on the domestic level. Of course, there is still a lot of work to be done, so that this whole process, so important, does not degrade and is finalized successfully", added Haradinaj.
