Kurti-Vucic, Escobar meeting: A difficult agreement was reached

The US special envoy for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar, has described the agreement reached by Albin Kurti and the Serbian president, Aleksandër Vucic in Ohrid, as difficult.

Escobar in a press conference after the meeting said that he congratulated the parties.

"I want to congratulate the parties for reaching the agreement. I appreciate the work done by both sides. The US is ready to help implement the agreements. The US will do everything it can to support him politically and economically to achieve peace in the region," he said.

According to him, this agreement now paves the way for Euro-Atlantic integration for both countries and a new era of peace for the region.
