Tensions have increased again in the north of Kosovo, where a policeman was killed as a result of a gun attack in Leposavic, while another was injured.
Officer Afrim Bunjaku, a police officer with the rank of sergeant, lost his life in this serious incident, while the injured is a member of the Border Police.
The event happened around 03:00 in the morning on September 24. It is reported that two masked people blocked the way of the police car with two trucks on the Mitrovica-Leposavi? axis. Then they shot in the direction of the police car, where the officer Bunjaku lost his life as a result.
Police sergeant Afrim Bunjaku becomes the second policeman of the Republic of Kosovo to be killed in the north of the country, while in 2011 Enver Zymberi, from Dubovci i Vushtrri, was in charge of his duties.
