"I cannot return to Ukraine because of the blocking of my passport. I am not a criminal. I am passionate about former communist countries. I have nothing to do with the espionage allegations. For me and my family it was a great tragedy.

Before I came to Albania, I had a very good job, I had a career, I had a boyfriend. I had come to Albania to learn about history, to learn about communism and about other interesting things in the history of Albania.

I was arrested during my trip and they accused me of espionage. 5-6 days later Edi Rama said that we are not spies and the object was declassified. But those who left me in prison for 9 months. I lost everything", declared Alpatov.
