The arrest of the former mayor of Durrës, Vangjush Dako, was the subject of discussion on Report TV in the show 'Repolitix' by Denis Minga. The guests Përparim Caca, Idajet Beqiri, Auron Kalaja and Legacym Sokolaj commented on SPAK's decision on the arrest warrant.

Lawyer Përparim Caca says that SPAK has strong evidence while making the decision to put him behind bars.

Since the court has made a decision in absentia, it means that we have strong evidence for Dako and so far it is abuse of duty", said lawyer Përparim Caca.

Lawyer Idajet Beqiri says that he should have been investigated in a free state, not arrested since the report was made years ago.

"We should not feed politics with things that are against the law. Whether we want to admit it or not, we have very few judges and prosecutors who administer justice and apply the law properly, but most of them have been completely deformed. They say that I abused my duty. In case there are 2 abuses of duty, what does SPAK have to do with it, it should be passed on to the District Prosecutor. If there is corruption, it is another matter. The fact that this event happened in 2012 and you as SPAK receive the report in 2019 or 2020, you have created the file, why should you arrest him? Why are you arresting him? Can't investigate it in free mode? What will happen?", said Idajet Beqiri.

While Aulon Kalaja said that it is an alarm bell that Prime Minister Edi Rama comes out clean when his accomplices are brought to justice.

"How is it possible that journalists knew about this issue and it is very disturbing. If measures are taken for Dako to do his own make-up and surrender himself and not have the media when he goes to the police headquarters, because the other arrests have not been so relaxed. If it was file 339, justice would have moved forward and the last thing I have is how is it possible that all Rama's collaborators face justice, some in prison and Rama turns out to be clean. This is an alarm bell and a moment that should be watched carefully", said Auron Kalaja.
