"Russia is preparing to cause conflict" / How Ben Blush's "Conspiracy" predicted a war in the Balkans, from Zelenski's statements to Stoltenberg's urgent visit to Pristina

Ben Blushi's new novel, which sparked much debate after predicting that Shengjin would turn into a city of refugees, is permeated from beginning to end by the pandemic of a war in the Balkans. More precisely, a war between Serbs and Albanians in Kosovo.

A possible war in Kosovo is being talked about a lot these days, after President Zelensky declared that there is information that Russia is preparing to cause a conflict between two states in the Balkans. The Secretary General of NATO has come urgently to the region these days, including Serbia, Kosovo, and the US has warned Russia not to provoke the Balkans.

A possible war between Albania and Serbia due to Kosovo is also discussed in the novel "Conspiracy" by Ben Blush, written in February-March of this year, as the author himself says.

The events of "Conspiracy" take place in 2044, when Albania has a mixed population of nearly 200,000 Afghans and 1 million Albanians. The Afghans, who take over the Ministry of Defense of Albania, encouraged by the Americans mobilize to liberate Kosovo, the north of which has been occupied by Serbia with the support of Russia.

This imagined event, i.e. fantasized, resembles point by point the scenario that Zelensky warned and that actually happened at the end of September this year, when a Serbian commando attacked the Kosovo police, killing an Albanian policeman. The goal of the Serbian terrorists was clear: "To occupy the north of Kosovo, making Kosovo a non-functional state with occupied regions like Ukraine today."

In "Conspiracy" by Ben Blush, the characters talk extensively about the possibility of a Third World War, which could happen if the Serbs invade Kosovo and then America and Russia intervene in the conflict.

According to Blushi, in the distant year 2044, the Serbs with the help of the Russians have realized this goal by taking the north of Kosovo. Here's what the novel says: “A war in the Balkans would probably cause a distraction, forcing Russia to give up the north, where she felt strongest, to descend on the south. Where, from a strategic point of view, she had fewer troops. Maybe that was the project. Forcing Russia to give up one war, opening another. And a war between the Albanians and the Serbs, under the pretext of reclaiming the territories, would be a bigger event than the distant war in Ukraine. To realize this goal, the Albanians were the most suitable people. They lived with the historical fixation that they had to return Kosovo to Albania, half of which was occupied by the Serbs in 2025 with Russian support." 

Blushi continues on this main line of the novel, introducing three strange Jews who organize a "Conspiracy" precisely to avoid the Third World War that could start between Russia and America if the Albanians and Afghans will liberated the occupied territories in the north of Kosovo. 

Here's what one of them says: "The Republic of Albania is entering the war and we must stop it at all costs. Albania will go to war whether it wants to or not, because apparently this is America's decision. We are very close to World War III."

The "conspiracy" centers on the historical goal of the Albanians to retake Kosovo from the Serbs. This project, in the book, is decided to be implemented by the Afghan refugees who came to Albania, who in 2044, according to Blush, are a community represented in the government of Albania with the post of Minister of Defense, who is an Afghan. One day this character goes with a fighter plane in the skies of Kosovo and there is an incident, which all the world's media reports as a signal of war between Albania and Serbia.

Here is what is written in the novel: "After Ukraine, Kosovo was the second hottest place on the planet and all the analysts of the world were betting that the new world conflict would happen at the end of that flat field, full of black birds ".

At the end of the novel, three Jews trying to avoid a Third World War find an unpredictable solution to avoid the conflict, but this only happens in the novel. It remains to be seen whether diplomacy will succeed in averting a conflict that the superpowers, America and Russia, each seem to be cooking up for their own interests.
