Round meeting with the ambassador of France, the focus of the talks is clarified

The Director General of the State Police, Muhamet Rrumbullaku, received at the premises of the DPPSh, a high delegation from the French law enforcement agencies, which was headed by the Ambassador of France in Albania, Catherine Suard, and consisted of the Attaché of Internal Security, Augustin Andres , the liaison officer for migration, Christophe Cherault and from the assistant of the Police Cooperation Office, Jetnor Isufaj.

The meeting, to express mutual gratitude for the cooperation so far, between the Albanian Police and the French law enforcement agencies, as well as to further consolidate this cooperation, with the aim of multiplying the capacities in the fight against international crime, organized crime, illegal immigration and cleaning of money, as well as for the location and capture of citizens declared internationally wanted.

The General Director of the State Police: "The cooperation so far with the French law enforcement agencies has been at high levels, concrete and very fruitful, for the benefit of the citizens of our countries. This cooperation should be intensified further, through joint investigations and operations, which will make it possible to destroy criminal groups with international activities, as well as to trace, determine and dispose of their assets. On behalf of the State Police, I guarantee the maximum commitment of all structures, to be professional and reliable partners and coordinators, in joint police operations with international impact."

Ambassador, Catherine Suard: "Although I have a little time with this task, the meetings I have held with officials and Police officers have made me understand the quality of cooperation between us, which is effective and productive for both parties. Real-time information sharing and mutual trust have made it possible to capture dangerous, internationally wanted nationals on behalf of our countries. On the occasion of this visit, I want to express my gratitude and appreciation for the 100% commitment of your structures against illegal immigration. The French Government and Police are committed to providing support and partnership in the fight against this criminal activity, for tracking and seizing criminal assets, as well as against other activities that are a common focus."

The two holders agreed on the drafting and implementation of agreements, by high-level technical experts, with the object of cooperation with the Scientific Police Institute, for the implementation of the ballistics system database, between the Albanian and French Police, as well as re-evaluation of preventive measures against the abandonment of minors.
