The immediate intervention of the police services prevents a possible criminal event against the person, which would be carried out with several firearms.

Armed in a bar, with 2 pistols ready to shoot, 2 citizens, members of a dangerous criminal group, are caught in the act and put in handcuffs.

In handcuffs and 4 other citizens, for not reporting the crime, 3 of which are part of the criminal group with the 2 armed citizens.

Those arrested, with a previous criminal record in the field of serious crimes against the person.

2 firearms, pistols, military ammunition, 3 vehicles, 2600 euros and 8 mobile phones were seized.

Following the operations carried out by the Vlora Police, with the aim of preventing criminal events, arresting citizens who are dangerous to the community, members of criminal groups, the services of the Local Police Directorate of Vlora have provided information about 2 citizens who were armed. , in a bar in Vlora, who could commit serious criminal events against the person. Based on this information, in cooperation with the "RENEA" Special Forces, the coded police operation "Obelisk" was organized and finalized, as a result of which the following citizens were arrested:

-SB, 37 years old, resident of Vlora, for the criminal offense "Possessing and manufacturing weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition without permission";

-MA, 33 years old, resident in Vlora, for the criminal offense "Possessing and manufacturing weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition without permission";

-B. Sh., 29 years old, resident in Vlora, for the criminal offense of "Disobedience of crime";

- MH, 27 years old, resident of Vlora, for the criminal offense of "Disobedience of crime";

-B. Xh., 29 years old, resident of Vlora, for the criminal offense of "Disobedience of crime";

- KM, 28 years old, resident of Vlora, for the criminal offense of "Disobedience of crime".

These citizens, members of a dangerous criminal group and with previous criminal precedents, in the field of serious crimes against the person, were caught in the act, in the premises of a bar, in the "Lef Sallata" neighborhood. During the physical checks and in this bar, the Police services found two firearms, pistols ("Glock" and "TT"), with cartridges in the slots, ready to fire, belonging to the citizens of SB and MA. Weapons were seized as material evidence, together with 3 vehicles owned by the arrested citizens, 2600 euros and 8 mobile phones.

Meanwhile, the other 4 arrested citizens are suspected to have known about the 2 armed citizens and did not report the crime.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Vlora, for further actions.
