Why do "Forex" fraudsters choose Albania? The economic expert points to two strong reasons

For years now, fraudulent Forex companies have turned our country into their haven, spreading at an alarming rate.

Invited to the show "Zone Zero", economic expert Pano Sako stated that these fraudulent companies choose Albania to develop their activity for two reasons: For the lack of law that would control these activities and also because Albania is a country where they can freely launder their dirty money.

"Many have been added to us, control must be strengthened in this area as well. It should be checked by other means and not by the means that we are used to carrying out previous investigations.

Albania is chosen because there is a legal vacuum to supervise this illegal activity. There is no special institution or way to supervise this activity. We must intervene, create a legal framework. We have to start checks and I believe it is a matter of time for this to be done. Albanians have not suffered much, these are addressed in other richer countries.

Money laundering is not a problem here, it has turned into an industrial scale. Albania is attractive to those who aim to cheat. Scammers are actually not many. They choose Albania for two reasons: the legal vacuum and the freedom to move their product and clean it afterwards," he declared.
