Why did the Hoxist dictatorship treat Kosovo Albanians harshly? The journalist tells the reasons: This is where the anti-Albanianism started

Journalist Ferdinand Dervishi, invited to "Balkan" on ABC by journalist Linda Karadaku, spoke about the reasons why during the dictatorship the Albanians of Kosovo were mistreated by the regime of the time.

Dervishi said that the anti-Albanianism towards the citizens of Kosovo started with the establishment of the Communist Party in Albania, where the real founders were Tito's two men, Mugosha and Popivi?.

He said that even during the war but also after it, they were the ones who led the politics, until the day when Albania broke relations with Yugoslavia.

According to him, not only during the dictatorship but also today, Albania has only made propaganda for Kosovo and nothing more.

Karadak: A part of the Boletin family came to Albania during the Zog period and during the war, but their experience in Albania was not good during the dictatorship. Is there a rational explanation as to why the government of that time had to be so harsh and so anti-Albanian towards Kosovo Albanians?

Dervishi: It started with the communists, since those who in the founding of the party enabled two Yugoslav communists, Mugosha and Popovici, dictated the founding of the party and later dictated the entire war. Despite the fact that a large part of Albanian historians have been of the opinion that the Albanians and Enver Hoxha made the war, they were at the top of the war. The biggest break was the agreement of Mukje, where the nationalists were expelled. The communists controlled by Tito's two men started the civil war to take power, and Hoxha accepted this. The biggest problem with coming to power, Yugoslavia's control was even stronger, we almost joined it. It was a broken bread between the people, we remained the same, they remained in their goals to include Albania in Yugoslavia, they could not achieve it for random reasons. Fortunately, in 48-we shared with them. But this does not mean that Albania did something for Kosovo, we only did propaganda. If we make a connection with reality, I see this, a lot of energy is wasted on the open Balkans and these big theories.
