Problems before the elections? The head of the CEC himself admits it: We pay well, but we can't find workers

The Chief State Commissioner of Elections, Ilirjan Celibashi, stated for "Barometer" in Euronews Albania that payments to operators are good, but there are still shortages.

"We are not calm about the recruitment of operators because it is difficult. Despite the fact that the payment for a working day is relatively good, somewhere around €100 per day there are still shortages. We will aim to get those operators we had a year ago," said Celibashi.

The chief commissioner indicated that based on the tests, it turns out that there is no interest in becoming part of the staff.
