"The 100 tires are coming today"/ He managed to smuggle 100 "Mini Blow" pistols from the neighboring country, the well-known journalist reveals how the "strong" of Kukës managed to 'buy' justice by being sentenced to only 2 years in prison

"The 100 tires are coming today"/ He managed to smuggle 100 "Mini

Bujar Gërmizi alias Ajeti, the Kuksian recently arrested by SPAK for providing the conditions for the murder of two brothers Edmond and Albert Nela, is not the first time he faces serious charges in the SPAK glass building.

The man who is considered the "strong man" of Kukës and with strong political-criminal ties, a close friend and shelter of the contract killer Nuredin Dumani, in 2008-2009 had a successful experience with the prosecution of Serious Crimes.

According to the investigative file, in June 2008, Ajeti was arrested by Serious Crimes, together with his associates in the trafficking of 100 "Mini Bloë" pistols, Alfred Qafa, Baftjar Halilaj and Fiqiret Onuzi.

The four persons were accused by the prosecutor of that time, Gentian Trenova, of the charge of "Arms Trafficking" carried out in collaboration and "Carrying firearms without a permit".

But unlike the other three traffickers who were sentenced to 10 and 11 years in prison for "Arms Trafficking", Bujar Ajeti pleaded not guilty to the trafficking of 100 pistols.

The prosecutor who represented the case in this trial, requested in his claim, the punishment of Bujar Gërmizi alias Ajeti with 13 years of imprisonment.

While Ajeti was sentenced to only 2 years in prison for "Possessing weapons without permission".

This sentence earned him immediate release from prison just 1 year and 3 months after he was arrested. While the 3 accomplices remained in prison, serving a more severe sentence.

Now the new justice is put to the test again in front of the criminal activity of Bujar Ajeti, in "Providing the conditions to kill" the two brothers Edmond and Albert Nela, carried out in the form of the "Structured Criminal Group".

The decision on this sentence was taken in September 2009 by the judges of Serious Crimes, Marsela Balili, Flora Hajredinaj, Bardhyl Dhama, Ardit Mustafaj and Klodian Kurushi.

In the file it is said that the arms trafficking group had made an agreement with two other people, "Labi" and "Tani", who were the agents of the criminal police and that they had taken a bribe of 2 thousand euros from them, with the aim of only for the group to bring 100 "Minibloë" pistols from Pristina to Albania.

From the wiretapping of telephone communications between Bujar Ajetit Alfred Qafa, Baftjar Halilaj, Fiqiret Onuzi and two police agents "Labi" and "Tani", the pistols are coded as "rubber".

"... 100 tires and a hundred pejece are coming.... Make it 150, what can I tell you...? "...That's how we left it for 100 tires today, thanks to God, Bujari said..."- this is another compromising conversation.

After the amount of weapons arrived from Kosovo to Kukës, the group left to meet with "Labi" and "Tani". As they met together to carry out the exchange of weapons with the rest of the euros, the criminal police intervened, arresting Bujar Ajetit, Alfred Qafë, Baftjar Halilaj, Fiqiret Onuzi in the act.

Within a period of 1 year, all four persons have appeared before the court and in September 2009, the Court of Serious Crimes declared Bujar Ajeti innocent of the charge of "Trafficking in arms", convicting him only of "Possessing weapons without a permit" .

While Alfred Qafa was sentenced to 11 years in prison. The other two accomplices, Baftjar Halilaj and Fiqiret Onuzi, were sentenced to 10 years in prison each.
