The three suspects for the murder of Liridona Ademaj have been transferred to the High Security Prison in Dyz. The Kosovo Correctional Service has confirmed that Naim Murseli, Granit Plava and Kushtrim Kokalla have been transferred to this prison after being sentenced to a one-month detention. All three are suspected to have jointly planned the murder of Liridona Ademaj. Her murder was allegedly ordered by her husband, Naim Murseli.

Naim Murseli allegedly ordered the murder of his wife Liridona, promising 30,000 euros to Granit Plava to carry out the murder. Meanwhile, Kushtrim Kokalla is suspected of an agreement to commit the criminal offense of aggravated murder.

According to the announcement of the Basic Court of Pristina, Murseli is suspected of the criminal offense of "Aggravated murder in complicity", Plava for the criminal offense of "Aggravated murder" and the criminal offense of "Unauthorized ownership, control or possession of weapons", while Kokalla for because of the criminal offense "Agreement to commit the criminal offense Serious murder.".

In this announcement, the Court also showed the doubts about how the case had happened.

"There is a well-founded suspicion that the defendant NM, with the intention of depriving his wife of her life in a cunning way, had agreed with the defendant GP to kill the now deceased LM, where previously the defendant NM had equipped the defendant with a weapon GP and staged the crime of Robbery, which was carried out on 29.11.2023 at around 20:25, in the village of Bernicë, Municipality of Pristina, in such a way that while the defendant NM was driving his car, in which was the deceased LM and their two children, the defendant GP suddenly appeared in front of the car with a mask on his head and a revolver in his hand, where according to the prior agreement the defendant NM and the children had gotten out of the car and left the scene could have run away, while the deceased remained in the car, whom the defendant GP had shot at close range with a bullet in the neck and as a result of the fatal wound, the deceased LM had died at the scene, while for these actions of the defendant NM, he had previously promised the defendant GP the amount of €30,000.00", the announcement states.

The Court has justified the imposition of a detention measure of one month for each one separately "because there is a well-founded suspicion that the defendants have committed criminal offenses, the same may affect the co-defendant, the victim and the witnesses as well as the risk of repeating criminal offences, in particular the seriousness of the criminal offence".

They had applied for divorce in 2019, but the case had not received an epilogue.

In a document obtained by Gazeta Express, it is confirmed that Naimi and Liridona filed a joint request for divorce before the Swedish authorities in January 2019.

However, the divorce had not happened, since within the period of six months to one year, of what is called the period of consideration or examination, none of them had gone to confirm that they want a divorce.

The District Court of the city of Uddevalla on February 24, 2020 had decided to dismiss the case from further proceedings.

"On January 31, 2019, Liridone Murseli and Naim Murseli submitted a joint declaration of divorce. The District Court decided that the divorce should be preceded by a review period of at least six months and a maximum of one year. In connection with the decision, the district court informed the parties that they could request the separation in writing within the specified period. No request for a divorce decree has reached the district court. The separation case has fallen. The District Court dismisses the case from further proceedings", says the decision seen by Gazeta Express.

This case was initially qualified as "Robbery with consequences of murder", based on the confession of Naim Murseli.

In the 24-hour police report, it was said that the victim was in a car with her husband and two children, when an unknown armed person stopped them and demanded all their valuables and then shot them with a firearm.
