26 candidates applied for the head of the Police Supervision Agency, after the resignation of Ardi Veliu a month ago. According to the information, it is learned that among the 26 names are former police officers, from the Security Academy, regional leaders of the AMP who seek to be catapulted to the main post of the institution or even return.
Among the names that have shown interest in the chair left empty by the former police chief Ardi Veliu is Florian Sulejmani, who in the same institution was the head of the Directorate for the Verification of the Cleanliness of the Figure and Internal Monitoring, but since a few months ago first left office. Further, the list includes names such as Durim Sota, who has held the position of head of the regional AMP in Vlorë-Gjirokastër.
