The toxicologist Suela Xhufi, who was invited to the show "Morning Panorama" on Panorama TV, has shown the first encounter she remembers as a professional with the most serious case of a drug-addicted patient who sought help in the hospital.

"The first patient I remember when I was a specialist had a heroin overdose, he was hospitalized, he was the first case. He was a 17-year-old boy. He had come to the Military Hospital in emergency, he was intubated within 2-3 minutes, he did not show that he had taken too much heroin.

This is a very challenging profession, you have to have professional mercy that even the family does not love these individuals, that they become criminals and do everything for drugs, especially in severe cases of addiction.

I have often heard such cases when the family says "Ishalla is dying", that they have years, spend money, send to rehabilitation centers, etc.

The duty as doctors is many times stronger to provide clinical and spiritual help.

That these people are lost as souls, they have no strength in themselves and all they have is drugs".
