Tensions do not stop in the North of Kosovo, shooting again in Leposavic

The situation in the North of Kosovo continues to be tense. Gunshots were reported in Leposavic.

Police have surrounded the area after reports of gunshots. Meanwhile, the authorities sheltered the journalists behind an armored car.

The police entered the building of the Municipality of Zveçan, while the mayor of Zveçan entered the building of the Municipality.

Earlier, dozens of Serbs gathered in front of this municipality to oppose the arrival of the new mayor in the municipality building.

The most tense situation is in Zveçan, where Serbs have burned several police cars. However, the Police intervened with tear gas, as the Serbs were trying to enter the municipality building.
