"People look like flies", Hajdarmataj's strong statement: Nano did not have a free hand, Rrumbullaku has strong support

The former head of the police, Arben Hajdarmataj, has commented on the cyber attacks that took place in Albania.

Hajdarmatj says that the problems with cyber security have been happening since before the April 25 elections, but that the State Police did not pay proper attention to them.

 "Problem of the patron Nazis, who at that time started the problems with hackers. The state police neglected it and stuck to the routine parameters of the state police and it did not occur to them that something like this could happen in the police systems. The work chain has been broken in the state police", said Hajdarmataj.
Invited to the program Radari Informativ, Hajdarmataj said that the worst thing that has happened in the State Police is the loss of trust in the police structure.

Among other things, he emphasizes that the new director has such strong political support that the people there look like flies to him.

"The police works to prevent criminal activity. It is disconnected, no one gives information neither from the citizens nor from the state police. Within the state police, the work or credibility among them is a disaster. The director also has such strong political support that the people there seem like flies", said the former police chief. 

He adds that Muhamet Rrumbullaku has high political support, while Gladis Nano has not had a free hand to act as he would like.

"Rrumbullaku has high political support... The email that Nano sent shows how the situation is a disaster, I don't think he is out of the game because he is a director, you have to ask yourself this question first and then organize a strategy on this question. "Nano did not have a free hand and could not act as he wanted," he said.
