"There are over 1 million cameras in Albania"/ Karamuço makes a strong statement: Hackers are still attacking us, they recently released...

The criminalistics expert, Ervin Karamuço, spoke on a TV show about the operation "Fijet e Krimit" as well as the situation with Iranian hackers.
Regarding the "threads of crime" operation and the possibility of going to the core, Karamuço said that the Albanian Police is also dealing with this issue for protection and cyber attacks.
" This is where the Albanian Police's directorate for cybercrimes came into play. It can reveal what cameras installed by criminal groups have recorded.
Let's see how much memory we have and who used it, and then all the criminal activity will be revealed," said Karamuço.
Knowing that many business or even residential cameras installed by individuals which are now being removed have helped in clarifying the criminal event and the possibility that some events may remain undetected, Karamuço said that there are over 1 million cameras in Albania.
Thus, according to him, these cameras, which are legal, should also be monitored by the state police precisely for these cases.
"A total number in Albania, businesses and individuals goes over 1 million cameras.
We are seizing dozens of cameras suspected to be linked to criminal gangs. In the future, 1 million cameras that are legal can be used, but in the meantime, allow the business cameras to be monitored by the police.
The Commissioner for the Protection of Personal Data is another institution that should be taken," the expert then said.
In the end, there was also a comment about the situation our country is going through due to the cyber attacks made by Iranian hackers and the fact that the latter seem to be staying calm.
"Every time we say that hackers are done, they always pull something out, which is very problematic.
Recently, they extracted a folder from the tax system where they extract personal data.
This is very serious and action must be taken. It appears they are still attacking our systems," he concluded.
