An Albanian citizen has fallen into the hands of the Italian police after being declared wanted since 2014 because the Venice court had sentenced him to prison for 10 years and 8 months.
The Albanian was declared internationally wanted, as the Italian authorities suspected that he might have left the territory.
Carabinieri stopped him while he was driving in Roseto degli Abruzzi in the Teramo area.
At the time of the arrest, he presented the officers with an authenticity document, which is being checked, but initially the police found anomalies.
He was then sent to the police station in Zhulianova and subjected to photo identification, where it was established that he was the escaped Albanian who had eluded the authorities for ten years.
