"I received the guarantee from Rama for the support of ...", the well-known ambassador in Tirana tells yesterday's meeting with the prime minister and the minister, clarifies what was decided

Sweden's ambassador, Elsa Hastad, at a press conference reacted to her country's application to NATO. According to her, the decision was supported by a majority of the Swedish parliament.

She said Sweden is prepared for anything if it faces attacks from Russia in response to NATO entry. She also stressed that she has received the guarantee for Sweden's support from Prime Minister Rama.

Yesterday I met with Prime Minister Rama and Mrs. Olta Xhaçka. Both assured me that they would support Sweden in its NATO process. This is a historic day for us and NATO. Sweden is prepared for everything. What we expect most in the matter of attacks, are more cyber or misinformation attacks, in order to destabilize Sweden. We are helping Albania a lot. Sweden is applying for NATO membership and Albania has EU aspirations. "Sweden is helping Albania in Brussels, in EU bodies and with funds," said Hastad.
