"Alright, continue the monologue, you judge like a politician...", the journalist 'explodes' at the economic expert: You will get an answer as befits the table

"Alright, continue the monologue, you judge like a politician...", the

Journalist Fatos Çoçoli, invited to the studio of the show "Open" on News24, spoke about the economic situation in the country, affecting the prices and salaries of citizens.

According to him, the low salaries are due to factors such as the drop in productivity in the country, which according to him did not come only from the political factor, but also from other reasons.

On the other hand, the economic expert, Dorian Teliti returned to Çoçolilt saying that he will receive an answer as befits the table, while adding that for the public sector the level of salaries is in the hands of the government, while in the private sector there are many factors, among them and the government. The journalist responded to these words by telling Teliti to "continue the monologue", as he added that the latter judges him as a politician and that the words he says are not clear.

Çoçoli: You asked why we have the lowest salaries in the region, it is an article from the same tool that 2 months ago brought out the facts about why these facts are. Low productivity is a reason, the private sectors, it's not that the private sector has no money, this magazine you refer to Monitori, in the period 2010-2019 our productivity has increased by 7% excluding inflation. If you have a fashion enterprise with 200 workers that has added value by 3 million euros in one year, then the productivity of each worker is 3 million divided by 200. This is how productivity is measured. We have not invested much in the branches with higher productivity. We export tomatoes, if we were to export tomato sauce, it's the government's fault that we haven't had it for 10 years, not only that.

Teliti: Why do we have a drop in productivity?

Çoçoli: Politics is not the only one to blame. You said that the government is to blame, that's where your role as a politician goes.

Teliti: You will  get the answer according to the table, for the public sector the level of wages is in the hands of the government, in the private sector there are many factors, among them the government.

Çoçoli: Okay, continue the monologue. You judge like a politician and you are not clear about what you are saying. The business has thought more about making building bricks, restaurants, etc. Private sector productivity has been 7% for the last decade, they have shown more to increase their profits and not wages. The business that has the most productivity, that of Macedonia, has invested in the share of the shareholders that comes out after the sale of the product. Even the business has built more than it has invested in employees.
