Roland Qafoku described the Rama-Ahmetaj clash as similar to the situation between Koçi Xoxe and Enver Hoxha. But he said that we could also be dealing with a betrayal, comparing Ahmetaj with Hamza Kastrioti.
"I can't tell if we are dealing with the syndrome of Hamza Kastriot or Koçi Xoxe. Is Rama betrayed by Ahmetaj, or do we have a style like Enver Hoxha's towards Koçi Xoxes", said Roland Qafoku, invited to Euronews Albania.
Roland Qafoku said that Minister Ahmetaj was Prime Minister Rama's favorite and the person who stood closest to him, but if there is an economic scandal, the Minister of Finance must be held responsible.
"Ahmetaj was the most important and favorite minister of Rama's cabinet. If there is an accusation or a financial scandal, the Minister of Finance was Arben Ahmetaj. So that you get away with it if there is a scandal... If there was a scandal, we are talking about the Minister of Finance, the Deputy Prime Minister and the man who spent more time than anyone else with our Prime Minister".
