With a Kalashnikov and ammunition in the trunk of the car, the 37-year-old suffers badly

He had hidden a Kalashnikov firearm and ammunition in the trunk of the vehicle he was driving, and the 37-year-old man was arrested in the act. The passenger in the vehicle was also handcuffed for not reporting a crime. The Kalashnikov firearm and combat ammunition are seized.

Specialists of the Narcotics Investigation Section, in cooperation with the services of the Operational Force of DVP Elbasan, following the work to combat illegality in the field of illegal possession of weapons, based on the information provided by the information intelligence about two citizens who were circulating with weapons fire, have organized the coded police operation "Covered". 
As a result of this operation, in the "Valas" neighborhood, Cërrik, in cooperation with the services of the Elbasan Police Station, the following citizens were caught red-handed and arrested:

-A. Zh., 37 years old, resident of Berat, for the criminal offense "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition";

- AK, 32 years old, resident of Berat, for the criminal offense of "Disobedience of crime".

During the inspection of the vehicle with driver A. Zh. and the passenger, the citizen AK, the Police services found a Kalashnikov firearm and a quantity of combat ammunition, which were seized as material evidence.
