Contraband goods, two postal employees are arrested in Tirana, looking for the administrator

Two employees of a private post office in Tirana, which stored and distributed smuggled goods, were arrested, while the administrator of the post office is wanted.

During the operation, 204 packages of various smuggled goods, worth about 15,000 euros, were seized.  

Specialists of the Section for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes and of the Special Operational Force Sector, of the DVP Tirana, following the work to prevent, identify and attack criminal activity in the field of goods smuggling, after a genuine investigative work, organized and finalized the coded police operation "Delivery 2".   

As a result of this operation, citizens Xh. Z., 28 years old and FB, 28 years old, resident in Tirana, employee of a private post office. Also, a citizen of LS, 30 years old, resident in Tirana, administrator of this post, was declared wanted. 

On "5 Maji" street, during the inspection of the private mail warehouses with the administrator citizen LS, the Police services found and seized, as material evidence, 204 packages with various goods, without accompanying tax invoices or customs declarations for the origin of the goods .    

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for further actions.
