The repentant justice Artan Tafani shocked quite a bit when he learned that the prosecutors, Doloreza Musabelliu of SPAK and Merita Selimi of Lushnja, were targeted by Laert Haxhiu's infamous group. This issue was exactly the topic of discussion in the studio of the show "Ora e Biti" on "Ora News", where the panel of guests commented on these alarm sirens on what is expected from the justice institutions. Former prosecutor Gentian Ternova emphasized that he did not receive direct threats. He further said that justice has been affected more by politics than by crime.
"But I think that the evil of the reform and the justice system comes from politics. It is what has hit him the most through political attacks, it has made the justice system not where it should be. Crime and the mafia find the right ground when politics creates it. The denigration during these years has happened precisely because of politics", said former prosecutor Ternova.
