The Independent Qualification Commission, KPK, announced on Friday, April 28, the decision on the confirmation in office of the prosecutor of Durres, Pali Deçolli. The decision was taken unanimously by the KPK body headed by Firdes Shuli, with rapporteur Xhensila Pinen and member Olsi Komic.
During the hearing on April 27, the Commission reported positive reports on Deçolli regarding the three criteria of re-evaluation, that of wealth, purity of image and professionalism.
Pali Deçolli started his career in the justice system as a judicial police officer. He was appointed prosecutor in 2012 and has exercised his function for almost a decade as a prosecutor of the Durrës District Prosecutor's Office. He was also the commanding officer of the Fier District Prosecutor's Office.
