The Speaker of the Assembly of Albania, Lindita Nikolla, reacted after the tense situation in the north of Kosovo throughout Friday.

Nikola has called for calming down the situation, while emphasizing that the dialogue mediated by the US and the EU is the only solution for the two countries, Kosovo and Serbia.

"The tension of the situation in the North of Kosovo does not serve the advancement of the process of normalization of relations between the two countries.

Kosovo and Serbia, with the support of our friends and strategic partners, the USA and the EU, have entered into dialogue for the normalization of relations and must continue this dialogue.

This is the only path towards mutual recognition, development, democracy, peace and cooperation in the region", writes speaker Nikolla.
