A serious incident happened this Wednesday in the village of Hasturkas in Fier, where a 60-year-old woman consumed phostoxin.
VD's wife presented herself for medical help at the Feri regional hospital, but unfortunately, despite the help she received, she lost her life.
It is suspected that the woman suffered from mental health problems.
"At the Fier Regional Hospital, the citizen VD, about 60 years old resident of the village of Hasturkas, administrative unit Libofshë, with mental health problems, who is suspected of having consumed poisonous substances (photoxine), was presented for medical assistance. Despite medical assistance, this citizen lost her life.
The investigative group continues its work to clarify the circumstances and complete legal documentation of this case", the police announcement states.
