The Energy Regulatory Body approved on Friday the government's proposal to quadruple the price of electricity from October 1, for every kilowatt consumed above the 800 Kh band. More than 71 thousand families will be affected by this decision.

Journalist Klodian Tomorri, in a reaction on social networks, says that the ERE board has set the price as requested by the government, while for the public interest, it could have approved another lower price.

Another problem raised by the journalist in his reaction is the fact that electric meter readers do not go to Albanian families within a month and from October 1, if the reading of the meter is delayed, this will risk families paying more than what they actually consumed during month.
