Candidates for the important post in the USA, the Albanian emigrant makes the rare confession: Here is what the regime of Enver Hoxha taught me!

An Albanian immigrant, Aleksandër Miçi wants to overthrow veteran New York senator Chuck Schumer. In an interview with 'The Post' he recounted how he left the country after the communist period.
"I was suffering, like millions of Albanians, under a tyrannical and communist dictatorship and I was struggling to get to America."
"And now almost three decades later, the past is a prologue: under Chuck Schumer, Democrats are still doing everything in their power to increase costs for everything, while everyday Americans struggle," Mici told The Post.
Mici, 46, officially launched the campaign last Thursday. Schumer on the other hand, a former congressman, is seeking a fifth term.
Former GOP senator D'Amato stated that Schumer is quite popular and well-known and in front of him the race is very difficult especially for an unknown candidate.
Mici, a Bronx resident and lawyer, has previously run for City Council and State Senate. He garnered an impressive figure, 45 per cent of the vote in the last race of District 34 City Council, a district with an overwhelming Democratic majority.
Mici, who left Albania in 1991, said growing up under Enver Hoxha's brutal regime was an experience he has learned a lot from and that is why he loves America and despises socialism.
