Tirana, and not only, has become the city that is absorbing the latest drug trends that are very dangerous for the health of young people. In the last year, anti-drug agents have encountered several different types of narcotics being distributed for the first time in Albania, which were not known to exist in the local illegal market. Such was the case of the recently discovered gelatinous cannabis in the "Tempulli" operation, which has alerted the police to increase controls in the 12 districts of the country to find out if there is a tendency to sell it even beyond Tirana.

But not just gelatinous cannabis. For several months, another substance has been circulating in Albania, which can be easily found even in bars, a type of drug that is taken with balloons. It looks like a cartridge, but after it is thrown into the balloon it is inhaled just like the helium that changes the sound. But this drug is not like helium and without consequences. 

It is about nitrogen oxide, for which in the West the alarm has been given for the consequences it brings to health, and some countries are considering concrete measures to consider it illegal.

This drug is traded quite prominently in the area of ??the former Block in Tirana. In this bar that you see in these pictures, and that has displayed balloons outside it as an advertisement for this substance, the latest trend drug is sold. Anti-drugs has found this bar several times, which was closed this Saturday, and the owner has been put under investigation twice at large. Sources told Report Tv that because this substance is not considered a real drug, the police cannot arrest the owner. In this bar - we learned - that the balloon drug is sold for 300-500 lek a piece, much more expensive than in other European cities, where you can find it for 1 euro.

The same sources indicate that 5 more times nitrogen oxide was also seized at customs, but again without value, since in the absence of legislation, the goods were released.
