Quite a hot week, but find out when local showers are expected

The rather warm summer weather will continue during this week, even with increased intensity, and we have clarified this with several previous posts. The heat of this summer heat wave is expected to peak during the middle of the week. Temperatures in Kosovo are expected to reach 34 degrees Celsius, while some degrees higher in the hottest areas of Albania and North Macedonia.

Throughout the week, Albania expects mostly sunny and quite hot weather. There may be completely slight decreases in temperatures near the weekend, while there may also be local showers with lightning and thunder throughout the weekend.

Kosovo, the north of Montenegro, parts of North Macedonia and the Presheva Valley will have very hot weather until Thursday. Even from Thursday it will be hot, but with a slight decrease in temperatures, while local rain showers with lightning and thunder are expected in some places. Rain showers will be rarer and more isolated on Thursday, while from Friday they will intensify and spread. Temperatures will decrease mainly slightly in the entire region, while in the areas of rain showers, the decrease in temperatures in the second part of the week will be more pronounced. The rain that comes in the second part of the week will not be comprehensive, however, in some places heavy downpours are expected at times.

So another week of very hot summer weather. In Albania, it will be hot and sunny until Sunday. In Kosovo from Thursday, a slight decrease in temperatures with some isolated rain showers. From Friday, more widespread and more intense showers, but it still remains warm, even though the temperatures normally drop, especially in the time and areas of the rain showers.
