He himself was submitted to the court for corruption with the water supply tender, GJKKO makes the unexpected decision for the lawyer of Bulqiza Municipality

The Court Against Corruption and Organized Crime has reconfirmed the measure set in absentia "prison arrest" for Leonard Daçi, a lawyer in the Municipality of Bulqiza, part of the group of officials of this institution who were arrested, including the mayor Lefter Alla.

We remind you that on the day of the re-evaluation of the measures on Saturday, Daçi suddenly appeared in the Court where the black squads were told that he was part of the persons to whom a security measure had been assigned, while the latter were following the process. Contrary to what the Special Prosecutor's Office had officially announced, Leonard Daçi, lawyer of the Municipality of Bulqiza, member of the Bid Evaluation Commission, suddenly appeared at the GJKKO about 2 hours after the start of the session for setting security measures. He came accompanied by the lawyer Arben Peci, where he knocked on the doors of the hall, informing the Court that he was one of the defendants in the case, and that in the absence of the security measure "prison arrest" had been taken against him.

While he was in the apartment, he claims, he heard his name being mentioned in the media as one of the arrested, but in fact he was in Tirana. Daçi notified the lawyer asking for his opinion, who suggested that he appear in court. Daçi is currently inside the courtroom, but he was allowed to be evaluated at a second moment after the procedures were done. Meanwhile, the sources say that the measure taken in absentia by GJKKO was not executed, at least for another person. It is about Denis Xholin, former legal director in the Municipality of Bulqiza, who is abroad.
