The Supreme Court takes the decision for the former member of the KPA

The Supreme Court upholds the sentence for former KPA member Luan Daci. 

Daci had requested the removal of the sentence for forgery of documents and false statement from all three levels of the judiciary. Daci asked for the annulment of the decision of the Supreme Court, which did not accept the appeal, the annulment of the decision of the GJKKO Appeal and the return of the case for trial at first instance, as according to him, these are anti-constitutional decisions.

GJKKO decided that judge Luan Daci falsified the documentation when he applied to become part of the KPA corps. In the documentation presented at that time by the KPA judge, he hid the fact that when he was a judge in the Tirana court in 1997, the KLD, on the proposal of the Minister of Justice, dismissed him from office for violation of the law and incapacity. After the conviction by GJKKO, at the request of the International Monitoring Operation, the Special Appeal Board started the disciplinary proceedings for the former member of KPA Luan Daci.
