The Prosecutor's Office of Tirana has changed the charge against the members of the Rraja tribe, some of them arrested and some wanted for the barbaric attack on two members of the Maya tribe in Borizana at the beginning of July.

Journalist Klodiana Lala reported that referring to this expert report, it is likely that this criminal case will soon be dismissed and the members of the Rraja tribe will return to normal life.

"According to the act, it is said that through the data of the legal expertise act, the body of the citizen Jashar Maja was caused non-life-threatening injuries, they caused incapacity to work for 9 days.

And the same for Bilbil Maja. Based on the medical criterion, their injuries classify the criminal offense as intentional slight injury.
Chances are that there will be no punishment at all for the persons responsible.
The prosecution declares that the persons under investigation, Flamur and Xelal Rraja, also had weapons and the criminal offense of intimidation was committed by them. But according to the prosecutor's office and for this criminal offense, there can be no investigation, but a report must be made by the injured persons.
If Jashar and Bilbil Maja do not complain, the prosecution is obliged to stop the investigation.

For intentional slight injury, the penalty is from a fine to 22 years in prison.
There is another, seemingly unimportant detail. In this case, since the amnesty is expected, and if there is a complaint from the Mayan cousins, they will be released.
What remains unclear is that the whole attack against them was considered harmless by the prosecution.
The prosecution only considers the possession of weapons by Rraja as a threat and is seen only as a criminal offence. "Only if they were charged with grievous bodily harm with intent would there be a more severe punishment, and it is unclear how the attack was qualified by the experts," reported journalist Lala.
