Hiding the husband's incident, the KPK makes an urgent move against the Korça judge

The Independent Qualification Commission (Vetting) has remembered to evaluate the subject Luljeta Kolonja, who for several years served as the former president of the Court of Pogradec and is currently a simple judge in Korça.

KPK has announced a hearing with Judge Kolonja on April 4, 2024, where the subject of the reassessment is expected to give explanations in front of the judicial body composed of: Suela Zhegu, Roland Ilia and Genta Tafa alias Bungo.

In the preliminary assessment report, the KPK found violations and deficiencies in professional integrity and that of image.

Kolonja, a judge with a rather dubious past and connected to elements of crime in Pogradec and Korçë, has managed to push the process of her verification in "Vetting" to the last limits.

Kolonja has run the Pogradec court for several years, and according to the law, the heads of the prosecutions and courts were put through an accelerated procedure in their reassessment in the three main criteria, professional, property and the integrity of the image.

Kolonja is one of the only Presidents of the Court in Albania, who has not come out to give explanations in "Vetting". The judge has significant deficiencies in her professionalism and obviously complaints and verifications in the vetting should be taken seriously and taken into consideration.

Above all, this judge is involved in not reporting conflicting events and incidents, when they happened in her presence.

This is because the protagonist of these incidents and conflicting events was her husband, Genci Kolonja. The husband is fully aware of which person he threatened and fought with in Pogradec.

The judge Luljeta Kolonja is also aware of this event, who even though she was at the scene and saw the criminal protagonism of her husband, at no time did she call the traffic police or the police of Rend in Pogradec, to resolve the situation.
