 A flash operation was carried out in Spain, which made it possible to hit a specialized robbery group of Albanian origin. Spanish media reports that their arrest was made after 4 months of investigations in the Sierra Norte de Madrid. The arrested are three men and one woman of Albanian origin, between the ages of 29 and 31, and two of them have precedents and convictions for property crimes.

The investigation began last October when an increase in robberies was discovered inside high-income houses located in various towns in the mountains of Madrid. The scheme used by the perpetrators consisted of finding houses belonging to upper middle class residents, their priority targets being the house type, to later enter the plots by means of a staircase, access to the premises interior and seizing all valuables in their path, mainly jewelry, watches, electronic devices, computers and cash.

Two of the men were the ones who forced their way inside, while the other performed observation functions in a vehicle in the vicinity of the house to ensure the escape. Also, the woman was verified as traveling to Albania once a month with suitcases filled with jewelry and valuables from the robberies.

So far it has been possible to prove their involvement in about twenty robberies that took place in houses located in Guadarrama, Collado Villalba, Galapagar, Collado Mediano, El Escorial, Las Rozas, Majadahonda, Rivas Vaciamadrid and the cities of Salamanca, Valladolid and Ávila .

In Madrid, agents found 10,000 euros in cash, luxury jewelry and watches, handbags, glasses and high-end accessories, as well as the car they used to carry out the robberies and the tools they used to break the lockdowns. The arrest of the three men took place after the entry and search of their and the woman's homes, when she was preparing to fly to Albania with several suitcases filled with stolen effects.
