What is happening? Three people are reported missing, the police stand up

Three people in the southeast area are reported to have lost contact with their family members in the southeast of the country.

According to the police, 2 women and a 65-year-old man, who are unrelated to each other, have been reported missing.

The first case was recorded in the village of Memëlisht, where the husband reported to the police the departure of his 38-year-old wife from the apartment.

"On 16.11.2023, at the Pogradec Police Station, citizen NH, 43 years old, resident of the village of Memëlisht, Pogradec, who reported that his wife, citizen AH, 38 years old, has left the apartment. We are working to find her," the police announced.

The second report was registered with the police of Korça, where a 40-year-old woman, resident in Scotland, reported the loss of contact with her father.

"On 16.11.2023, at the Korçë Police Station, the citizen MT, 40 years old, resident in Scotland, appeared, who reported that since November 2022, she has lost contact with her father, citizen TT, 65 years old, who lived alone in the apartment. Efforts are being made to find him", said the police announcement.

Meanwhile, the third case was recorded in the village of Vranisht in Devolli, where a 52-year-old woman reported the departure from her 80-year-old mother's apartment.

"On 16.11.2023, at the Devoll Police Station, citizen HT, 52 years old, resident in the village of Vranisht, Devoll, presented herself, who reported that her mother, citizen ZH, 80 years old, resident in the village, had left the apartment Pilur, Devoll. We are working to find her", the police underlines.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Korçë General Jurisdiction, for further actions.
