What is happening? They 'jump' the handcuffs for two Albanians in Spain, here are the charges against them

A quantity of 1,600 marijuana plants and 3.8 kg of the same substance packed in vacuum, as well as numerous materials related to cultivation, mobile devices and documentation were seized by the Spanish police.

The Civil Guard has dismantled a home plantation of marijuana in a house in the rural area of ??Mallade in Tàrbena.

Two people of Albanian nationality were arrested for these events. The judicial authority has decreed the release of both, with the withdrawal of their passports and the obligation to appear in court when required.

The investigation began in December last year, when the Civil Guard received information about a possible marijuana plantation in a house in the rural area of ??Mallade in Tàrbena. To clarify these facts, the Callosa de Ensarriá Civil Guard Post launched Operation Magenta.

In the first phase, agents located the home, investigated and noted that it was equipped with advanced security measures, such as video surveillance cameras, alarm systems, motion sensors, potentially dangerous guard dogs and systems to monitor vehicle access, as well as an electric fluid cheat point.

At a later stage, the investigators started efforts to identify the residents of the bar's apartment, also conducting numerous observations. As a result, they have identified as residents two 48-year-olds of Albanian nationality. The suspects were unemployed and exhibited unusual behavior, spending long periods indoors.

After confirming the existence of an internal marijuana plantation, a house search was carried out in Callosa d'en Sarriá Post. During this action, three rooms equipped for the cultivation of marijuana through hydroponic cultivation were discovered.

1,600 marijuana plants, 3,800 grams of the same substance packaged in a vacuum, as well as numerous effects related to cultivation, mobile devices and documentation of interest to the investigation were seized.

During the search, both suspects were arrested and charged with criminal offenses against public health for the production and cultivation of marijuana, as well as fraud with electricity, with an economic loss of about 35 thousand euros for an electricity company.

The arrested have been handed over to the Villajoyosa Guard Court, which has ordered the release of both with the forfeiture of their passports and the obligation to appear in court when required.
