A 29-year-old man identified as Besmir Shala, of Albanian origin but living in Norway, was found without signs of life yesterday near a roundabout in Pisa, Italy.
Witnesses who found him at the scene said they saw the 29-year-old lying on the ground and noticed that he was not moving. As they approached, they also saw a scooter-type motorcycle with which he was riding.
The 29-year-old is suspected of being involved in an accident, where he lost control of the motor vehicle due to high speed, or due to a nap at the wheel.
The young Albanian had spent the evening with his girlfriend, while investigations to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident are ongoing.
