NAME/ Accused of misuse of duty, the court makes a drastic decision for the Police employee

Today, the Court of Elbasan has issued a security measure for the police officer Ilirjan Braçja, suspending him from duty.

The Regional Directorate of the Elbasan-Korçë Police Surveillance Agency has executed today the decision of the Elbasan Judicial District Court, which has decided to assign the measure of personal security "Suspension of the exercise of a duty or public service" to the police officer Inspector IB, with duty of the Service Corps at the Gramsh Police Station, suspected of committing the criminal offense of "Misuse of duty".

From the investigations carried out by AMP, under the direction of the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance Elbasan, it results that the above employee was aware of the fact of the illegality of the citizens of NT and ZT, whom he directed to avoid the controls of police stationing services while on duty. Also, he directed these subjects to hide their vehicles with illegally cut timber during police operations carried out by other officers of the Gramsh Police Station, de-conspiring his colleagues during the performance of their duties.

Investigations related to this criminal proceeding continue to identify other persons involved in this illegality.
