Professor of criminology Ervin Karamuço, invited to the show "Black and White", talked about the "sophistication" of organized crime. While talking about the new ways drug traffickers are using to avoid the police, the expert added that the economy of organized crime has already been formalized.

"Their economy is no longer as informal as it used to be, it has been formalized. On the other hand, the number of murders has decreased. In 1982, we had 55 murders. We currently ended the year with 43 murders. They have no interest in bumping into each other and committing crimes on the streets because they create attention.

They have started doing business. We're moving on to white collar crime. We will not usually find them on the street like 20 years ago with expensive accessories", said Karamuço.
