A serious criminal event is prevented in Vlora. A Kalashnikov firearm is seized. The 28-year-old man who was carrying the gun in the vehicle while driving in the city of Vlora was arrested in the act.

2 citizens (passengers in the vehicle) are being prosecuted for failing to report a crime.

The investigative structures of the Vlora Police Station, in cooperation with the services of the Special Force "Shqiponja", based on the information provided by the police intelligence that a 28-year-old man was traveling in the city of Vlora, with a vehicle in which he was carrying a firearm and that he would commit a serious crime, have organized and finalized the coded police operation "Alexandria".

In the framework of this operation, the citizen was caught and arrested red-handed:

- DP(A.), 28 years old, for the criminal offense "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition".

During the search of his vehicle, the police services found and seized as material evidence 1 Kalashnikov firearm.

Due to investigative secrecy, since the event is under investigation, no other details are given regarding the motives and target of the arrested person.

Also, following the actions, the free proceedings were initiated for the citizens FF, 17 years old and AH, 17 years old, both residents of Vlora, the passengers traveling together with the 28-year-old, in his vehicle, for the criminal offense " Decriminalization of crime".

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Vlora Judicial District Court for further procedural actions.
