Journalist Basir Çollaku was on Euronews Albania this Tuesday where he talked about the metamorphosis file. He said that in the file "Metamorfoza" there are names of MPs and ministers involved who, according to him, have cooperated with the organized crime of drug trafficking.

He said that SPAK should investigate the connections of people in power with those of drugs, since according to him, the laundered money of the latter "does not come out of the washing machine", but mainly from constructions and other investments for which cooperation is needed with powerful people.

Metamorphosis has not promised us anything. This type of investigation by the prosecution is from 2016-2021, which is almost 6 years. There are names of deputies, ministers. There are names of current ministers, current deputies, there are names of judges of all levels, from the Constitutional Court, KPGJ, KPL, KPA, there are many names there.

This does not go away, but who are these people communicating with? Take those heroin and cocaine men and women, where does their money go? Where money is laundered, in a washing machine or in a laundromat. It goes to constructions, resort investments, strategic investors and others. There is one thing from SPAK that I don't understand. They know about judges, prosecutors who are part of this investigation. The files will go to them later, but how will their colleagues punish them?" said the journalist.
