Lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu said that the arrest of Vangjush Dako was not a coincidence because it happened after the release of Saimir Tahir and the statements of the American Embassy, ??and that the former mayor of Durrës was not found guilty today.
"There are no coincidences in justice, everyone had warned that there would be arrests. The coincidence happened 48 hours after Saimir Tahiri was released, 48 hours after the message of the American ambassador. We are dealing with a criminal offense that was committed in 2011. I mentioned some special political, social and legal circumstances. I think it's not a coincidence. It is not a coincidence that after 13 accusations no other measures have been taken, it is happening right now", Saphiu said.
